Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join
our team. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving
skills, and be self-motivated to provide exceptional customer support efficiently. The candidate should
hold a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years
of experience as an application/product support engineer.

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for Java and browser-based web applications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to OS (Windows and Linux), batch and shell commands, REST APIs, DBMS
(MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), and web/application servers (WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss,
etc.)
• Work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment and provide support on weekends.
• Use JIRA and Salesforce ticketing tools to log and track customer issues and resolution progress.
• Understand and analyze error logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide exceptional customer support efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as application/product support.
• Excellent OS skills – both Windows and Linux.
• Sound knowledge of batch and shell commands.
• Experience in troubleshooting Java and browser-based web applications.
• Sound knowledge of REST APIs.
• Sound working knowledge with any DBMS (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with configuration of web/application servers (WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, etc.).
• Strong desire to provide exceptional customer support efficiently.
• Must be able to work from the office and work in rotational shifts.
• Must be quick in troubleshooting and understand error logs.
• Ability to work in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
• Quick in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Salesforce Ticketing Tools. Preferred Skills: The following skills are not required
but would be considered an advantage:
• Experience in ETL technologies.
• Programming/scripting language experience (e.g. .sh/.bat, Java, JavaScript).
• Experience working with Control-M batch tools.
• Exposure to virtualization using Citrix.
• Previous experience within Banking and Financial Services domain. We offer good perks and benefits
