Client Description

Our client is a mid-size automotive components manufacturer; not a Fortune 500 name, not a garage startup, but the kind of established, multi-line production plant that quietly keeps the automotive supply chain running. Multiple shifts, multiple production lines, a workforce that knows the machines better than any dashboard ever could.

They didn't need a digital transformation overhaul. They needed something much simpler, and much harder to get right: to know what was happening on their own floor while it was still happening.

Challenges

Here's a question worth sitting with: if a machine on your line has already failed twice this week, would you know it today; or three days from now?

For this manufacturer, the answer was almost always "three days from now." Every defect, every unplanned stoppage, every maintenance flag was still living on paper; clipboards, handwritten shift logs, the occasional Excel sheet updated whenever someone had a spare ten minutes. Designed the rollout around existing shift patterns, Adoption meant picking up a new device rather than learning an entirely new process, making the transition easier for shop-floor teams

The whole thing; scoped, built, tested, and deployed ; took six weeks.
